ABOUT ME

Over the last decade, I’ve built successful internal communication strategies and teams in both public and private sector organisations.
I’ve won multiple international awards for my work, which I credit to my creativity and results-based approach. Most recently I was a Finalist for “Leader of the Year” in Gartner’s global Communication & Marketing Awards.
I was the first Head of Internal Communications in the 100-year history of the Irish police force, An Garda Siochana. I led the organisation through the Covid-19 pandemic and received widespread acclaim for my strategic, calm approach that kept police officers safe through clear, effective communication.
Then in 2023, I decided to become a solopreneur. I left the corporate world and founded The Curious Route.
Now I run a one-person business that helps organisations communicate better with their employees and helps communicators to grow their skills and confidence through training and coaching.
When I'm not working on my business, I'm training in the gym, walking on the beach or reading books.
